The Journey

After two full seasons in the Terra Luna garden, I finally have some time to document the challenging journey from a neglected, concrete backyard to a lush, inviting herb and vegetable garden!

and so it begins...

I was lucky enough to raise some money via the community crowd funding site, Indie gogo, to hire a landscape architect to build raised beds custom fit to the space.

The plants have to get there somehow! Starts from Greensgrow Farm strapped to the back of my bike :-) So thankful that this local gem is just a quick 5 minute ride from the garden. Their ethically grown starts are my go-to when trying out new plants.

AND NOW...

Greens galore! Lettuce, Kale, Echinacea, St. John's Wort, and Lemon Thyme making an appearance in the beds against the back of my house.

The garden has quickly become the perfect place for Summer hang outs.

This may be a predominantly herb filled space, but look at these PEPPERS, TOMATOES, + BEETS

Feverfew flowers are the friendliest blooms in the garden. Easy to grow, with a long production season, I couldn't be more in love.
