January 2019 - Roots

As the temperature drops, the showy, flowering tops of most plants wither, yet their roots remain alive. Sending their energy down into the soil, protecting their core life force through the tough Winter months. This month we celebrate the power of consuming such roots, as well as toughening and expanding our own emotional foundations.

TINCTURE-

Tinctures are a medicine made by dissolving medicinal plants in either alcohol or vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is great for plants that you are going to used in a tonifying, everyday way (and is a good choice for people who avoid alcohol-based tinctures.)
